"Our experience with C & A Johnson was fantastic from start to finish. When we initially met with Simon we were considering a couple of potential projects and it wasn’t until a couple of years later that we were actually able to proceed with the loft and garage conversion but it was definitely worth the wait. When we were ready, Simon met with us again to go over everything and ensure we were happy with the designs. C & A took care of everything from the designs to getting approval from the local authority which made the whole process leading up to the build very straightforward. The whole team were brilliant to work with. Both the C & A direct team and their sub-contractors were friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled at their jobs. Ty kept us updated throughout, giving us plenty of warning about any decisions we needed to make as the project went on. We also really appreciated that the team thought ahead for us, asking us about small details that we would never have thought of but that made a big difference to the space. Everything ran according to schedule and to budget. Where we agreed extras, the team were always very transparent about the price and everything was agreed before they went ahead - we’ve not always had this with other work we’ve had done! We would not hesitate to recommend C & A Johnson to others. We’re really pleased with the finished loft and new office and cannot fault the quality of the work that we’ve had done."

All their workman were pleasant, helpful and polite - the customer service was brilliant. I was also astonished at how tidy and clean the work was - I was expecting thick builders' dust over everything, especially after they broke through the ceiling to install the staircase, but there wasn't any. We were expecting having a loft conversion to be really challenging to live through, but I think C&A Johnson's professionalism really made a difference in this respect - they made it as painless as such a major building project can be. We have had so many compliments on our loft since they finished - and everyone says in particular you can really see the high quality of the finish. I totally agree with that and would add that it couldn't have been done by a nicer, more professional bunch of people. I even quite miss having them around! "From start to finish C&A have been absolutely fantastic. When original plans were refused due to the AONB requirements Simon had new plans drawn up, approved by ourselves and submitted within 10 days. C&A were flexible with timescales for the work due to issues with probate delays and there was no pressure to get the job started until we were fully ready The entire team from Simon, Tyrone who managed the day to day project and the lads who carried out the work were considerate of both ourselves and all our neighbours and worked around our family and business needs. A special mention for Olly and the team as the final finish and attention to detail was second to none. I will also note that everything was left so clean every day, noise, dust and disruption are inevitable in any construction projects but the teams really did minimise any they made and cleaned and hoovered every afternoon. Thank you from everyone in the family for an absolutely fantastic job that maximised our space and minimised the disruption."
