He managed to do the impossible: fulfil everyone's complex, and tricky requirements for the build, including working with the existing structures (and concrete slab), sustainable design, passivhaus principles, self-buildable, and a bunch of quirky design-features, but also creating a stunning design that works as a whole, and will be a really beautiful house (when we've actually built it.)
